কোন কোন ক্ষেত্রে দেখা যায় কেউ মারা গেলেই আমার আপনার প্রতিবেশীরা উঠে পড়ে লাগে যে শ্রাদ্ধে মহা ঘটা করে মাছ না হলে চলবে না, কেউ যদি বৈষ্ণব সিদ্ধান্ত অনুযায়ী আত্মাকে মহাপ্রসাদ প্রদান করে শুদ্ধভাবে সাত্বিক মহাপ্রসাদ সেবার ব্যবস্থা করে তখন ঐ মাছ খাওয়ার লোভে সমাজের লোক তাদের প্রতি রুষ্ট হয়ে যায়, তথাকথিত ব্রাহ্মণরাও শ্রাদ্ধে মাছ খাওয়ার বিধান দিয়ে থাকে, কিন্তু এরা সবাই নরকের যাত্রী, যার উদ্দেশ্যে শ্রাদ্ধ হবে তাকেও নরকে পাঠাবে, আর এরাও সবাই নরকে যাবে। তাই দয়া করে শ্রাদ্ধে মাছ খাওয়া বন্ধ করুন, আর যারা বৈষ্ণব সিদ্ধান্ত মেনে নেয় না, তেমন লোকেদের, তেমন ব্রাহ্মণের ও তেমন সমাজকে পরিত্যাগ করুন। এতেই আপনার পরম কল্যাণ হবে।
মনু সংহিতা শাস্ত্রে (৫/৮৩) * এ বলা আছে– ব্রাহ্মণ ১০ দিন, ক্ষত্রিয়১২ দিন, বৈশ্য ১৫ দিন, শূদ্র ৩০ দিন অশৌচ পালন করবেন।
সুত ঋষি বলেছেন, জাতি মাত্রে বিপ্র ১০ দিনে, ক্ষত্রিয় ১২ দিনে, বৈশ্য ১৫ দিনে, শূদ্র ৩০ দিনে শুদ্ধ হবে। (গরুড় পুরান ১০৭/১০-১১)*
আবার শতাতোপো ঋষি বলেছেন, ক্ষত্রিয় ১১ দিনে, বৈশ্য ১২ দিনে ,শূদ্র ২০ দিনে শুদ্ধি হবে। এ থেকে কি বোঝা যাচ্ছে, কোথাও মিল নেই ,তাহলে আমরা কোনটা মানবো?
এবার আসুন অন্য দিকে
ঋষি মনু বলেছেন,” দশাহং শাবমাশৌচং সপিন্ডেষু বিঁধিয়তে” (মনু সংহিতা ৫/৫৯)* অর্থাত্, সপিন্ডের মৃত্যু হলে ১০ দিন অশৌচ পালনই বিধেয়। আবার গরুড় পুরাণে স্বয়ং শ্রী কৃষ্ণ বলেছেন, দশাহং শাবমাশৌচং সপিন্ডেষু বিধীয়তে। (গ.প.উ.৬/১০)* অর্থাত্ সপিন্ডের মৃত্যু হলে ১০ দিন অশৌচ পালন করতে হবে। আশ্চর্য ব্যাপার শ্রী কৃষ্ণের নির্দেশ ও ঋষি মনুর কথা হুবহু এক। এ থেকে বোঝা যায় সকলের জন্যই একই নিয়ম। আর কলিযুগে জাত পাত নেই, এ যুগে ব্রাহ্মণের ঘরে চোরও জন্মায় আবার শূদ্রের ঘরেও ব্রাহ্মণ জন্মে। মানুষের কর্মের ও গুণের উপর ভিত্তি করেই চার বর্ণের সৃষ্টি। তাহলে এখন কত দিনে শ্রাদ্ধ করবেন?
আসুন জেনে নেই…………
মৃত ব্যক্তির দশম দিবসে ক্ষুধা ভাব জন্মে।মৃত ব্যক্তি একাদশ কিংবা দ্বাদশ এই দুই দিবসে ভোজন করে। তাই এই দুই দিনে মৃত ব্যক্তির উদ্দেশ্যে পিন্ড দান করবে। (গরুড় পুরাণ,.উ,৬/৭৭)* বরাহ পুরাণে(বরাহ.১৮৮/৪,৭-৮)* বলা আছে, চার বর্ণের মানুষই একাদশ দিনে পিন্ড দান করবে । ভগবান শ্রীকৃষ্ণ চরম সিদ্ধান্তে বলেছেন,” একাদশে দ্বাদশে আদ্যং প্রকীর্তিতম্”( গরুড় পুরাণ.উত্তর.৬/৫১)* অর্থাত্, ১১বা ১২ দিন শ্রাদ্ধের দিন।*
অতএব সিদ্ধান্ত এই যে, ১১ অথবা ১২ দিনের দিনেই শ্রাদ্ধ করতে হবে,১৩ দিনে না। এখন প্রশ্ন ১৩ দিনে কেন করা যাবে না? এ বিষয়ে বলা আছে, মৃত ব্যক্তিকে ১৩ দিনের দিন ক্ষুধা তৃষ্ণায় কাতর হয়ে যমলোকে যাওয়ার জন্য যাত্রা করতে হয়।(গ.প. উ. ১৬/৫৫)* এদিনে যমদূত কর্তৃক ধৃত হয়ে যমালয়ে যেতে হয়।(গ.প.৬/৮১)* শাস্ত্রে ১৩ দিনে ক্রিয়া করার কোনো উল্লেখ নেই। কিন্তু বর্তমান যুগের ব্রাহ্মণ রা (মনু সংহিতা ৫/৮৩)* নং শ্লোক এর দোহাই দিয়ে বিভিন্ন দিনে শ্রাদ্ধ করে বিভেদ সৃষ্টি করছে। কিন্তু তারা (মনু সংহিতা ৫/৫৯)* নং এই শ্লোক ও (গরুড় পুরান ৬/১০)* নং এই শ্লোক টা দেখেও দেখে না ।
বৈদিক শাস্ত্র অনুযায়ী কিছু বিধান দেওয়া হয়েছে কিন্তু যখন একটা জীব আপন স্বরূপ জেনে যায় যে সে ব্রাহ্মণ নয়, ক্ষত্রিয় নয়, বৈশ্য বা শূদ্র নয়, উচ্চ জাতের নয়, নিম্ন জাতের নয়, তার একমাত্র পরিচয় ও প্রকৃত স্বরূপ হল –“নিত্য কৃষ্ণদাস।” তখন আত্মতত্ত্ব জ্ঞান ও বিশুদ্ধ ভক্তি লাভ করে চিন্ময় স্তরে উন্নীত হন, জড় জগতে বাস করেও তিনি চিন্ময় জগতে বাস করেন, তার দেহ কৃষ্ণনাম প্রভাবে চিন্ময়ত্ব লাভ করে বৈষ্ণব স্তরে উন্নীত হয় তখন তার এই সমস্ত বৈদিক শ্রাদ্ধবিধির কোনও প্রয়োজন নেই, তার শ্রাদ্ধের জন্য কোনও পুত্রেরও প্রয়োজন নেই, কারণ তাঁর প্রকৃত শ্রাদ্ধ তিনি নিজেই করে যান,এমনকি শাস্ত্র অনুযায়ী একজন বৈষ্ণব তাঁর একুশ পুরুষের শ্রাদ্ধ করে যান স্বতঃস্ফূর্তভাবেই তাঁর ২১ পুরুষ নরক থেকে উদ্ধারলাভ করে থাকেন। বৈষ্ণবীয় আচরণ সাধারণ মানুষের বোধগম্য নয়, তারা শ্রাদ্ধ করুন আর না করুন আর এগারো দিনে করুন তাতে কিছু যায় আসেনা।
